Shirley is an advanced neurological physiotherapist who specialises in complex conditions. She graduated from the Newcastle school of physiotherapy in 1986, and then continued her education in craniosacral therapy, and neurology for complex conditions. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist Shirley completed a bachelor of science in Zoology from the University of Sheffield. 

Shirley has held a number of senior positions in public and private healthcare in the UK, she has a keen interest in complex conditions in particular stroke, MS patients, and upper limb recovery. Her approach to treatment includes myofascial release techniques and yoga methodology where appropriate. 

With a holistic approach to life, Shirley loves yoga, she recently completed the British Wheel of Yoga course, she practises meditation and thoroughly enjoys gardening.
